CFA: Skills and Mentorship beyond the Academy Program
AJS Skills and Mentorship beyond the Academy

This program, from the Association for Jewish Studies, is designed for those with PhDs who are underemployed or unemployed. Selected participants will meet over Zoom during the 2026–2027 academic year, where they will actively participate in professional development and skill-building sessions.
Each participant will also be matched with a mentor who works outside academia. In addition, participants will have an opportunity to gather in person during the AJS Annual Conference, taking place in Philadelphia, PA from December 20–22, 2026.
Each participant will also receive a $250 stipend for participation.
