Columbia Theological Seminary
Columbia Theological Seminary, a graduate educational institution of the Presbyterian Church (USA), invites applications for two full-time tenure-track faculty appointments in Old Testament. One of the positions will be at the rank of Assistant Professor. The rank for the second position will be Assistant or Associate commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applicants should have a PhD or ThD in Old Testament/Hebrew Bible by the time of appointment. The positions include teaching five courses a year in all programs of the Seminary, including in-person and online master’s and advanced degree courses and continuing education programs, with a start date of July 1, 2026. Columbia seeks to appoint faculty members committed to theological education and the life of the Church with demonstrated excellence as scholars and teachers. Nominations welcome.
