2026 Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting CFP

The Catholic Biblical Association of America (CBA) invites paper proposals for the 2026 Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting, to be held March 13–14, 2026, at Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania.
Proposals (maximum 300 words) are welcome from established scholars (Ph.D.) and advanced graduate students in fields related to the Tanakh/Septuagint, Pseudepigrapha, Apocrypha, Qumran Scrolls, New Testament, and Early Jewish and Christian literature. Presentations should be 20 minutes in length, followed by 25 minutes of discussion. Proposals must be submitted via the [Proposal Form link] no later than December 15, 2025. Notification of acceptance will be sent by January 9, 2026. Presenters must reside in the Mid-Atlantic region (USA) and may participate either in person or virtually.
The meeting will open on Friday evening, March 13, with a panel discussion on “Covenant Theology and the Rule of Law,” featuring Dr. Byron Wratee (Villanova University) and others, followed by a reception. Saturday, March 14, will feature paper sessions and a keynote presentation by Dr. Peter Enns (Eastern University) followed by a reception. The event will be offered in a hybrid format.
Registration is $40 for faculty (Ph.D.) and $20 for graduate students, with scholarships available upon request. The fee includes full participation in the event, meals, and the Friday and Saturday receptions. Registration for virtual participation via Zoom is $15.
