Job Description

Position Overview:
The Catholic Biblical Association of America seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented, and service-minded part-time Assistant Office Manager to support the daily operations of an international scholarly/charity association. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who enjoys working in a mission-driven and member-centered environment. The position reports to the Executive Office Manager and works closely with other CBA staff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist members via email, phone, and virtual communication channels.
• Support routine administrative workflows, including correspondence, scheduling, document preparation, and record keeping.
• Provide administrative support for committees, meetings, and special projects as needed.
• Participate in occasional travel for CBA events.
• Maintain and update records in the association's database and shared systems.

Qualifications:
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new systems and processes.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
o Experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, Webex, or Google Meet.
o Experience with Novi AMS is preferred.
o Basic design skills in Photoshop, PowerPoint, or similar tools preferred.
• Familiarity with Catholic tradition, nonprofit organization, member association, or academic contexts is preferred but not required.
