Professional Bio
                            Peter Vale received an A.B. (cum laude) from Harvard College in 2006, a B.Phil. (summa cum laude) from St. John Vianney College Seminary in 2013, an M.Div. (summa cum laude) from Notre Dame Seminary in 2020, and a Ph.D. from Boston College in 2025. His dissertation, “Echoes of the Exodus in Jerome’s Vulgate Judith,” aims to shed further light on Jerome’s approach to translating Judith by applying reader-response criticism to the Vulgate text. He is currently completing formation for diocesan priesthood with the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
