Part-time Teaching Fellow in Near Eastern Archaeology

The UCL Institute of Archaeology is seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow who will contribute to high-quality teaching in Near Eastern archaeology, joining other staff who focus on the region and surrounding areas such as northern Africa, including Egypt, and the eastern Mediterranean.The post-holder will primarily carry out teaching of an introductory-level BA module in Near East archaeology and will also assist in course development and carry out marking duties.The post is available for 3 years in the first instance. Key Requirements The successful candidate will be educated to PhD level in Near East archaeology or related disciplines. They will have experience of leading/convening an undergraduate taught module OR lecturing/providing tutorial support in a relevant field at the undergraduate level. Experience of research-led teaching is also essential as is experience of assessing student work at an undergraduate and graduate level.
