NASCAL 1st Friday Workshops
The November 5th NASCAL workshop will feature Tony Burke (York University) speaking on: “Reimagining Categories of Christian Apocrypha: Gospels, Acts, Letters, Apocalypses, and . . . Pseudo-Apostolic Memoirs?” The workshop takes place via Zoom on November 5, at 12 pm EDT. Papers are circulated one week in advance; each workshop session lasts one hour, the majority of which is dedicated to discussion.
The final workshop in the Fall 2021 program is Bradley Rice (December 3).
To participate in the workshop, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. You will then be given the Zoom invitation, the meeting password, and the pre-circulated paper.
The NASSCAL First Fridays online workshop series is a forum for discussing new and in-progress work on apocryphal Christian texts. The workshop meets on the first Friday of every month during the North American Fall and Spring semesters (September, October, November, December, February, March, April, May).
