Professional Bio
Sherri Brown is Professor of New Testament at Creighton University, a Jesuit and Catholic University in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. She earned her doctorate in biblical studies from the Catholic University of America after other graduate studies at Columbia University and Yale University Divinity School. She has published six books as author, co-author, or editor on the Johannine Literature and the New Testament generally. She has also published numerous articles in both academic and popular journals in all areas of New Testament studies. A devoted member of the Catholic Biblical Association, the Society of Biblical Literature, and the Society of New Testament Studies, she also currently serves as the General Editor of The Bible Today, a journal published by Liturgical Press. She continues to research and publish in the Johannine Literature and the Catholic Epistles.
