Professional Bio
After completing a study program of law and languages, and a few years of professional experience, I studied catholic theology in Germany and became a biblical scholar. I earned my doctorate on Isaiah in 2014 (supervised by Professor Burkard Zapff) and completed my habilitation on Numbers in 2020 at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (Germany). It was at this university where I had my first academic position before I worked as non-tenured professor of Old Testament exegesis and theology at the University of Bonn from 2021-2022. Since 2022 I have been teaching Old Testament theology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich (Faculty of Catholic Theology).
